But, what is a PAB Authorized Developer ?

Above all, it is a recognized Xerox partner for its applications development capabilities, reliability, and his expertise on Xerox SDK (software development kit). He’ll be able to develop and deliver embedded applications compatible with the full range of ConnectKey® MFPs (AltaLink, VersaLink and some Workcentre). MyWork Platform obtained this label after having passed numerous tests to guarantee: their good financial health, their IT system reliability, their test methodology and development environment quality, their ability to support their customers, their IT security level and, of course, their ability to develop for the Xerox ecosystem.

Xerox previously choosen 6 PAB Authorized Developers around the world and is now proud to nominate MyWork Platform as the 1st French Authorized Developer and 7th Partner to achieve the highest certification standards in their Application Ecosystem developers. As a reminder, Authorized Developers are structures that have the capability to develop custom applications for all Xerox partners that have not necessary in-house development resources. This can allow those last ones to provide personalized answers to their customers and help them to optimize their business processes, or simply to improve user experience using their MFPs.

One Use case

Since 2017 Veenman (a Dutch Xerox Company with focus on SMB+ market) is successful with selling their Veenman Support App (VSA) to different type of customers e.g. into Healthcare and local Government.

With this app, every user is via single sign on able to report his/her service requirements directly and on the spot simply and quickly on the display of the (multifunctional) printer. The print-related requests are automatically, structurally and digitally reported and registered, including all relevant data for the notification concerned. Important advantages: less workload in the internal IT department and no unnecessary telephone consultation or e-mail traffic for the user.
